The witcher's main task is to end the pact between the villain and Olgierd von Everec. It makes for a deep and compelling narrative, and you get to decide how it all plays out. There are two distinct endings to choose from; one involves O'Dimm taking the soul of Olgierd; whereas, the other has Geralt outsmarting the Man of Glass. The latter is generally considered the morally 'good' ending, but both are well-written and brilliantly executed. And this guide includes all of the information you need to achieve either one of them.

Olgierd von Everec and Kaer Morhen Spoilers for hearts of stone and main game. I know I would really like seeing him chop up some wild hunt soldiers. Does anyone feel the same? Are there any characters you would like to see a the battle of Kaer Morhen that are not? Perhaps people could convince CD Projeckt Red to make a patch to make these characters recrutable.
He burned the letter. All seemed well until he discovered his wishes' unwanted side effect: his heart was slowly hardening into stone.
Olgierd von Everec was the eldest son of Kristina and Bohumil von Everec , Vlodimir 's brother, and Iris ' husband and a member of the von Everec family. At one point he was a Redanian officer and later the ataman of the Redanian Free Company. Unlike his companions, however, he was educated, adhered to a noble code, and loved art. Olgierd von Everec was the oldest of two sons born in the early years of the 13th century to Kristina and Bohumil von Everec, who were members of a noble and respected family. He grew up with his younger brother Vlodimir on their family's estate and learned how to read, ride, shoot, and fight with a saber. As soon they were able, Olgierd and Vlodimir formed a band of noble-born rogues and would raid Velen and other Temerian borderlands often, with locals developing fear at the mere sound of "Olgierd". Despite this, he and Iris, a woman from another noble family, began a relationship and fell in love.
For most of the expansion Geralt runs around performing three tasks for Olgierd, but on one occasion the two can end up fighting. Olgierd is infamous for being a hard foe to beat. Not only does he dodge most signs, he also blocks most attacks and a single combo attack can knock Geralt from full health to dead in a matter of seconds. Fortunately, the strategy for beating him is surprisingly simple and relies on a single game mechanic most players are familiar with. However, the main building is on fire and Olgierd's cronies are about to execute someone. The player then has a few dialog choices. Options 1 and 3 avoid the fight, but option 2, "Let him go or face my wrath," will cause Olgierd to emerge and challenge Geralt to a duel.

After defeating the caretaker you'll be given a key to the house. Before entering, head to the rear of the garden and collect the hairbrush from the far left corner. Now enter via the back door and make your way through the house. After a short cutscene, collect the sketch book from the table and then head upstairs. Now make your way through the open door to the left, onto the balcony, and into the bedroom. The other door will open now, and as you enter the lights will dim and a wraith will attack. This particular creature has more powerful attacks than those of your normal wraith, and when the monster's low on health it'll disappear into one of the paintings on the wall. When it emerges, it'll be fully healed, and so you need to keep it in the centre of the room, away from the walls, and ensure you kill it quickly. Lay down a Yrden, use Specter Oil if you have it, and keep the boss busy at all time - pinning it in the corner near the door you entered through can also be a massive help.

Then the Borsodis purchased this debt and, with their brutal enforcement of its terms, drove the von Everecs into utter bankruptcy. After calming the spirit and summoning her, Geralt discovered that her grief was so powerful that she created the world in the painting and had to go through it to fully awaken her. Whatever the impulse, Geralt decided to visit the locally-infamous nobleman and pursue the bounty on the sewer monster. Geralt later met with Professor Premethine Shakeslock of Oxenfurt Academy , whom Shani had learned had corresponded with Olgierd many times. Olgierd von Everec was the eldest of two sons born in the early 13th century to Kristina and Bohumil von Everec, who were members of a noble and respected family. Witcher Decoctions are the most crucial tool to ensure Geralt has enough of. Thankfully, the real solution is simply 'reflection. Geralt was tasked with hearing out Olgierd's three wishes as per the terms of the agreement. Cry, and I weep, yawn, and I sleep, smile, and I too shall grin. What we don't know is if there were time limits on the initial wishes, did he have to take all three within a certain amount of time or if O'Dimm wanted to force the contract he gets 3 new wishes. Olgierd, still in love with Iris, tried to convince her to run away from him, but she did not want to cut herself off from her family, leaving them no choice. One of the safer tactics is to maintain Quen and engage close quarters only when the sign's effect is up. He first met Geralt when he wrote a commission that was hung by one of his men outside one of the taverns, telling him to kill a monster in the sewers in exchange for a considerable fee, as well as anything he would like from the court. What we don't know is if there were time limits on the initial wishes, did he have to take all three within a certain amount of time or if O'Dimm wanted to force the contract he gets 3 new wishes. It is not really that hard. Free from his pact and his heart restored, Olgierd thanked Geralt and gave him his sword — a souvenir which had been in his family for generations — then walked off into the sunset. Regardless of which method you pick, Master Mirror murders Olgierd. Olgierd, now completely devoid of feelings, got into an argument with Iris' father and shoved him against a stone pillar, instantly killing him and causing Iris to hate him. Upon entering the mirror-filled room, go down the stairs and head left to get around the big hole in the center. Everything changed when a wandering witch referred him to Master Mirror. What it does clearly say is: 1 Olgierd tried to re-summon O'Dimm with Goetia but nothing he did worked. This is Thesecret Fondle and ogle me till you're insane, but no blow can harm me, cause me pain. The rose in question had long since withered. The latter condition is stupid because he could just wish for another 3 wishes for the 3rd wish.
