You see, my family members are also huge foodies — we used to wander around night markets every weekend and skip the last period of school to try out new restaurants. Fast forward to high school, I moved to Vancouver, where I was blessed to find even more unique cuisines and restaurants surrounding me. I never needed to cook my whole life because of how easily I could access good food until I moved away to go to school. I attended university in a small town with no Asian food, and after the initial six months, homesickness began to set in.
