I have met two people who adopted dogs from Many Years Rescue on a local walk, many tears animal rescue. One had a 7 year old female Quantstack ex breeding dog who was so friendly and affectionate to eveyone. The owner said the dog had been neglected,no human contact or affection etc for her breeding life.

The shelter itself was a hive of activity, as staff members and volunteers rushed about with their radios- tidying kennels, moving dogs and showing visitors about on tours.
Animals on site: Approximately dogs between shelter and foster homes , 10 equines, 5 semi-stray cats. MTAR provides shelter, medical treatment and socialisation to unwanted dogs handed over from pounds, breeders and the public. All dogs are desexed, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped, and provided with any additional medical treatment before they are available to be rehomed. We don't have regimental rules on what homes are suitable but below give you an outline of the type of homes we are looking for and the process we follow, should you wish to apply for one of our dogs. Once you have completed an application form you will be contacted either via email or interviewed over the telephone. We will discuss some of your answers in order to ascertain if we think the dog you are applying for is a suitable match for your lifestyle. We may suggest a different dog to you. If the dog is in a foster home, your application will be passed to the fosterer who will call you as soon as possible.

Jolly will need a calm and quiet adult only home with at least one kind resident dog to be her friend. Pickle is a special boy who is unused to people but trying hard to be brave and show his lovely personality. Hazel is a heartbreaking girl who is very scared and needs a patient experienced home to show her how loved she is. Pasta is a gorgeous girl who adores her kennel friends and needs a patient calm home to help her flourish. Indie is such a sweet little girl with such sad eyes and needs a helping hand to show her all the good things life has to offer. Quest is a fantastic girl who will need some time and love to help her overcome her shyness towards people.
