Grounded mant

The Mant Boss fight is a major battle that is mandatory to complete to proceed in the main story questline.

In addition, it gains access to 2 new attacks; a ranged spore bomb that it will pick from the fungal growths on its back and hurl at the player, and an explosive eruption similar to the way Infected Larva attack, in which it will bend down and unleash 3 close-range explosions from the fungal growths on its back. It will also gain the ability to shoot a ball of web from its arms that, should it make contact, will slow the player down and reel them in closer to the Mant. In addition, its three-hit combo occasionally gains an extra swipe at the end, turning it into a four-hit combo.

In this room, you want to head to the back and towards the large Sinkhole this is in a northern direction from where you enter. When you reach the Sinkhole , you should be able to see a tunnel opposite that is covered with webs. Use the tree branches on the right-hand side of the room, to climb across and over to the tunnel. This is, in fact, a Black Widow's nest. You'll have to run through this, to reach the lab where Mant can be found. As you enter the Black Widow's nest, look for the light that shines through on the other side. This is the direction you should head, to exit the nest and find the Undershed Lab. Go inside and follow the path until you reach the room with the beds. You can set this as your respawn point in case you die going up against Mant. Take the path to the left first, and follow the corridor until you reach the room with the Infected Larva. Go to the back of this room and interact with the terminal. Make your way back to the room with the beds, and this time take the path to your right.

Grounded requires players to gather edible resources and building materials for food and shelter as they attempt to live as long as possible. Along the way, Grounded also requires players to fight many predatory insects, whose seemingly enormous scale helps illustrate the small size of the protagonist. Grounded allows players to explore an enormous environment as a miniature human towered over by branches and blades of grass. Players must maintain the levels of their "food" and "water" meters to keep healthy as they battle the elements and enormous enemies in the outdoors. Grounded marries players' desire for exploration with their enticement for danger as they find themselves in various precarious situations in an attempt for survival. The Orchid Mantis is perhaps the largest and most challenging boss in Grounded due to its enormous health bar and specialty in fast attacks. This means that players will need a fair bit of preparation and strategy if they hope to defeat this ruthless opponent. Players will also need to obtain the Orchid Mantis Kebab prior to seeking out this gigantic beast, which summons the boss for the fight.
