Monday, September 27th, PM. For the last few days, I've been trying to get to the Xfinity sign in screen on two different computers, and on 2 browsers per computer. I have reset cache and cookies, and have rebooted - nothing helps. I don't understand why, but I had the same problem a few weeks ago and resetting the modem seemed to correct it. I had this issue last year when I did the trial of the Netgear Armor security feature. Armor turned out to be a disaster and screwed up the system and was blocking oauth. I had to reset the system back to factory, do firmware updates, and setup the network from scratch all over again.
