In the recent chapters of the story, Yuji combined his strength with the other friends around him in an attempt to take down Sukuna. In this heated battle, Yuji finally appears to have tapped into his cursed technique and it is one that fans are very well familiar with. Yuji Itadori had great potential as a sorcerer from the get-go. Even before he learned how to rely on cursed energy, Yuji possessed tremendous strength. In fact, for his age, he was incredibly strong physically, and even when Megumi was already working in Jujutsu High, he knew that he failed in comparison to Yuji in terms of physical attributes. When Yuji joined Jujutsu High and started learning the applications of cursed energy, he developed a technique known as Divergent Fist. This allowed him to reach great levels as a sorcerer and, with time, he developed his techniques further. Yuji even learned how to tap into the powers of Black Flash momentarily and, at the same time, his battle intellect continued to grow to a point where he surpassed Megumi in many ways. All this was managed by him without even having a cursed technique. And, this was quite strange as, in most cases, cursed techniques manifest themselves by the age of six.

However, it requires highly sophisticated manipulation of cursed energy to achieve, so the ability to do so is rare.
