I was provided a free meal on behalf of this review. A few short weeks ago the Del Amo Fashion Center added a new restaurant to the mix. Vegas Seafood Buffet. This being their 3rd location within the Los Angeles area.

This was my first time there for lunch. The price was very reasonable for the food options and I was not disappointed nor was I blown away. If I could though.. I would give it a half star more on the food. June Amazing restaurant for fresh and cooked seafood.

I went in once. But I was close to alone. The space sat empty for quite awhile. Then, along came a branch of Vegas Seafood Buffet, and the emptiness of that space came to a screeching end. At a recent Sunday brunch at the buffet, you could hardly jam your way through the front door. Large groups assembled in front, waiting to be called. While they waited, they posed for family photos. And someday, a new generation would wonder who those people were — and why were they so hungry. You have to be hungry to eat at the Vegas Seafood Buffet; this is not a place to go for a casual snack, should you feel peckish while shopping in Del Amo. This is, as are most Asianesque buffets, an exercise in dining worthy not just of Las Vegas, but of the Roman emperors as well.

Travelling Foodie Tip: Look for the salmon pieces with lots of white as they are most likely salmon belly! They were still good but I try to remove some of the cheese as it becomes too heavy after a while.
