Ulcerated Tree Spirit is an enemy and reoccurring boss in Elden Ring. Giant, serpentine entities with bark-like skin covered in red pustules, commonly found near the roots of the Erdtree. They use their claws and tails in combat, and can generate a burst of golden fire. Tree Spirits found in places close to the Erdtree and its roots. Their bodies resemble the branches or roots of trees, but with large, red welts. They usually drop Golden Seeds. Rotten tree spirits found in places infested with Scarlet Rot.
