I sold my 22' Boston Whaler this past year to move up some and have been looking at a 27 foot Sailfish center console. Anyone have any experience and thoughts? Thanks and Happy Safe Holidays. With any boat of this design, you benefit from a better wave-cutting ride but expect to roll a little more at anchor or drift than a shallower hull boat. Sailfish designed in a hull step to mitigate this and I feel like it helps. The hull is thick and solid with no wood. Impressed the heck out of the guys who did my through-hull transducer. No problems with the electrical either although I did clean up some of conduit and strapping. Certainly have seen much worse.
