Before jumping into the search for all the game's Sage's Wills, pack plenty of Zonai tech; elixirs , arrows , bows, batteries , and anything else that will help you navigate the sky islands, and take on some large foes such as Gleeoks and Flux Constructs.

During your quests, you awaken several Sages that will assist you in your grand mission to stop Ganondorf. By trading in four Sage's Wills to a Goddess Statue, you can deepen your bond with a chosen sage that you have already awakened. This upgrades the vow of the sage into a Solemn Vow , and increases the sage's attack power when you have their avatar summoned. There are 20 total Sage's Wills in Tears of the Kingdom. As there are five sages you can awaken , you will need to collect all 20 Sage's Wills to upgrade them all. The Sage's Wills are completely spread across the skies of Hyrule, you will need to be prepared for long flights and tough fights if you want to get them all. You should first activate all the Skyview Towers , since they will often be the best way to reach the skies in the first place. Skyview Towers will also be the primary starting point mentioned in this guide to find Sage's Wills. This Sage's Will is found in a gated section of the East Gerudo Sky Archipelago, and you'll need to complete a small puzzle to collect it. The sky island housing the Sage's Will is in the northern section of the archipelago, and as you glide toward the area, you can identify the island by the branches that reach over the edge. Reaching the sky island should require less than 1. After landing on the sky island, drop to the lowest level, and you'll find that the chest housing the Sage's Will is behind a locked gate. To open the gate blocking your access to this Sage's Will, you need to use Zonai Mirrors to deflect sunlight into the hexagonal panel above the locked gate until it turns green. The Construct is holding a Mirror Shield that you can use, and several extra Mirrors can be found scattered throughout Level 2. With Mirrors in hand, you can now solve the puzzle to collect the Sage's Will. The puzzle can be solved in various ways and your solution will be dependent on the time of day. In our playthrough, we placed a Mirror on the floating rock formation east of the chest to deflect the sunlight toward the area just in front of the hexagonal panel. We then used, Ultrahand to raise a second Zonai Mirror to aim the sunlight into the hexagonal panel.

You can paraglide slightly southeast to reach the Sokkola Sky Archipelago. Using a Skyview Tower, you will land on the top level. You need to get the Sunlight to bounce off of the Shield and hit the lock above the locked gate in front of the chest. To open the gate, use the spotlights and Zonai Mirrors in Starview Island to deflect light into the hexagonal panel above the gate. Next head to the little cluster of islands centered around a launcher, East of Great Sky Island. Faron Sky Archipelago Use ascent from below the marker to arrive in the chamber above, or burn the vines blocking the entrance. The middle layer above you is full of stakes and mirrors to use - put a mirror in the sunlight to fire a beam into the lower layer, then one more to angle it into the receiver, as shown above. The chest here is located behind a puzzle on the bottom level of the island here. Sage's Will's true potential can only really be uncovered if you've made it through parts of the Regional Phenomena main quest. The easiest way to access this arena is to fast travel to the Water Temple, then simply jump off the main platform and descend down the arena some way below - where another Flux Construct II boss fight will be waiting. The island itself is full of luminous rock and the Sage's Will is in a chest next to the large rock formation on top. For both, the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower is the best place to launch into the sky in order to land on these islands and grab the Sage's Wills. To open the gate blocking your access to this Sage's Will, you need to use Zonai Mirrors to deflect sunlight into the hexagonal panel above the locked gate until it turns green.
