I never successfully made rock candy as a child, not convinced I'd be too good at it as an adult either though OMG, so much fun! Unfortunately, rock candy.se, rock candy.se isn't really a way to make rock candy grow quickly.
I'm uploading all of my Rock n' Raz episodes to NewGrounds, so you will see 2 uploads a day for about a week or so. It's 18 episodes total, and they're very unique, so they not might be for everyone! But I'd at least encourage you to give them a shot! They only start to get really good around episode 6, so even if you didn't enjoy the first episodes, check out the later episodes. They're a bit more involved. The reason I'm uploading them all now?

It's also an excellent opportunity to get creative in the kitchen because the color and flavoring combinations you can create are endless. This is one of the simplest sugar candies you can make, though it does require patience. All you need is sugar and water and a few basic materials you likely have around the house. Most of the steps involve making the sugar syrup and preparing the sticks and jars. While you should start to see changes within the first few hours, it may take three to seven days for the rock candy to form. Keep in mind that the exact quantity of sugar syrup you will need depends on the size of the jars you're using and how many candies you want. For example, the recipe's measurements work for four ounce jars or one quart-sized Mason jar.

Then you pour sugar mixture boiled to hard ball stage over string. Awesome little project!
