When you walk through the main gate into the walled, medieval town itself, a kind of magic seems to happen. Most buildings inside the walls have been lovingly maintained and restored. Around each corner, you can find a fresh architectural surprise, a square buzzing with cafes and rows of sandstone houses with traditional green shutters. In the old town the Neo-Gothic style of the Sant Jaume church is seen reflected in the buildings that surround it, where sandstone and intricate details continue down its cobbled streets. On Sundays and Tuesdays, the open market spreads through much of the town attracting locals and tourists alike. In the evening, the town is lit by warm lamplight. This gives the colourful buildings a soft, pleasing glow. Most locals speak Mallorcan, a dialect of Catalan. Castellano, the official term for Spanish, is the other recognised language. However, Mallorca International school is just over a ten-minute drive away down the motorway towards Palma. The school which caters to year olds opened its gates in and teaches the British national curriculum.

Highly recommend…. A dinner date to remember for years to come for me and my hubby. Love love love!

Really great menu, staff were great with the kids offering them colors and a little book to draw in. The atmosphere is great and the service is perfect. Aged steak, sole fillet, chicken kebab and chicken nuggets for main which were all excellent. Garlic prawns and calamari were frozen and just fried - could not taste any fresh seasoning. The service throughout the meal was excellent provided by friendly, attentive waiters. Dishes taste a little bit different here, more diversity between them, bigger spectrum of flavors, better spices. Everything was delicious. Because it offers an excelent choice of tasty tapas at good prices. Because a meal at Jardin Restaurant is a top experience that you will not forget. It combines a great service, quality products and good prices. Fantastic place! Looking across at some of the other diners who had ordered the steaks and they looked very good as well. But it was so bland and seriously, nothing special, huge disappointment! My favorite was the nachos when liquid cheese and tomatoes sauce. It's truly breathtaking and one of the most impressive views I've seen.

In peak season — July and August — the beach is so long and spacious, it beach never feels completely packed. Even in the summer months when the island is baking in plus degree heat, Alcudia beach never feels quite as hot as there is usually a nice breeze blowing across the bay. Like many of the beaches in Mallorca, Alcudia is a great resort for those who have accessibility issues.

The atmosphere was wonderful. Many of the neighbouring beach hotels open much earlier in the year than elsewhere on the island. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, lovely staff. The historic town of Alcudia, not to be confused with the seaside resort of Puerto Alcudia, is an authentic example of local life in Mallorca. The food was top notch and we would gladly go back. Kids love this place too. I just loved to have a paella here. Definitely recommended! Would recommend it. This is a treasure of a restaurant, we just finished our meal and I needed to review asap! Best restaurant in Alcudia! Me Gusta is a modern Mediterranean restaurant serving contemporary dishes using local produce. Tasty food, portions are big enough.
