But then I thought that maybe you could take some of the themes and characters from the story and make a different movie. If it could be pulled off, it would certainly say something about stories being told solely as a video game as opposed to something that just as easily could have been put on film. If there was a game that was critically and financially successful that everyone agreed could only be told and experienced on that medium, then I think video games as an art would officially reach the next level. But that is a blog post for another week. He would eventually run into a mysterious man who claims that he might be able to help Jack fix his problems. This mysterious man would play the analogue of Judge Holden. Jack would go on a trail of murdering, thieving, and scalping to get his mother back or another plot device if this is too easy. About one-third to halfway through the story, his mother or the plot device of choice would be found and the plot seemingly concluded. The author even based his protagonist, the kid, on Chamberlain. Chamberlain knew the Judge well, and he had some interesting things to say about him.
