Link and midna

Link and Midna first meet after the former is pulled into the Twilight Realm and turned into a wolf. He is captured and imprisoned but Midna rescues him and agrees to help him find his friends on the condition that he helps her with a mission of her own. She introduces him to her friend Princess Zelda before taking him back home and helping him get back to his human form. Link and Midna continue to help save the rest of Hyrule while searching for the Fused Shadows that Midna seeks. She insists that she does not care about Hyrule or Link but things change when Zant confronts them. He curses Link and turns him back into a wolf while a concerned Midna stands at his side. Zant then tries to get her to join him but she refuses. This causes him to expose her to the light which greatly injures her. Link carries a dying Midna on his back to Hyrule Castle so that they can go see Zelda. Midna begs her to tell Link about the Mirror of Twilight which instead prompts her to transfer her soul into Midna so that she will not die and can exist in the realm of light, and Link does not seem to care that Zelda has died. Link and Midna then go out to seek the Mirror of Twilight and she tells him the story of the Twili. He listens while smiling and she asks if he will go with her before touching his face affectionately. Link and Midna gather the shards of the Mirror of Twilight which allows them to enter the Realm of Twilight. Together they defeat Zant and recover the Fused Shadows.

So it should be obvious to anyone that I absolutely love the pairing of Midna and Link aka Midlink. I don't exactly know when I started shipping it, but I know I have been for years. But why? Why not ship Ilia and Link, the childhood friends that clearly cared a great deal for each other? Why not Link and Zelda? After all, those two are eternally connected, and sometimes, they save Hyrule together! Well, the reason I love Midna and Link together isn't just because they traveled across Hyrule and the Twilight Realm together.

Link and midna

Midna, a Twili , teams up with the protagonist, Link , to battle a " greater evil " that she alone cannot overcome. In fitting with her initial dark nature, she has a playfully mischievous sense of humor, and showed a somewhat cynical demeanor during most of the game. She also has some of the most extensive voice acting found in the series, as all of her dialogue is represented by audible though unintelligible vocalization. Midna's voice is provided by Akiko Koumoto. Midna, like all creatures from the Twilight Realm , cannot tolerate light. She hides in Link's shadow when he is in the Light World. The only time she takes her physical form is when Link is in the Twilight. After being exposed to light during the game and later being healed from the resulting injury, Midna is able to take on her physical form even in the Light World, though she still chooses to remain in Link's shadow most of the time, telling him she wants to keep a "low profile. If we hear enough voices for her to come back, how can we not?

At times it has potentially escalated to the biggest fan war in gaming, beyond even that of the heated timeline debates. Twilight Princess not only has the largest range of potential bachelorettes, but also more hints than ever before. Some potentials can be found in the young sisters Hena and Iza, the siblings of Coro.

Relix Member. I used just a fraction of the power that's in me now Fig The Altruist. I wish Nintendo would actually allow characters stories like this in the series itself but Skyward Sword is the closest we got and people whined it had too much story so They need to fall in love if it has not happened so already . The Twilit Hero by DarthAsh18 6 2. Of course it's mainly from my wishful thinking, but we really do see a relationship build and grow over the course of the game. Want to contribute to this wiki?
