I was wondering if addons like GSE - gnome sequencer are allowed for all players to use, this addon is available on curseforge. I just wanted to how blizzard feels about these addons? You will never have a Blue give a hard yes or no to any add-on. They are all use at your own risk. From the sound of it though, it does seem like one that will get you flagged hard and fast.

I did a little look into this addon, watched some videos, and got a sense of the strengths and weaknesses of it. My rough notes to myself are appended. I did not try to clean it up any or make it clean, but if you want to dig deeper there is some stuff there. Under each section I gave examples of the kind of things you can put there. You can go to LazyMacros and just use stuff out of the can. Make sure you import their strings, and read their notes on how to use it, and for what talent spec it works best in. This can be problematic because people try to automate a lot of the decision making involved. I am an intermediate level macro writer for WoW, and have a pretty basic understanding of what you can do with macros. You would basically put in the high priority stuff first, and it would execute it. The way macros work in the game now is if you have that priority list, if it can not do the first command in the list, WoW dumps the macro. GSE2 avoids this dump by going to the next action in the list. Where I think this fits in is in a general framework. Any ability that you use as a proc, keep out of the GSE macro. Any ability that needs to be timed for a burst window, keep that out of the macro. Things like warlock DoTs of agony, corruption, siphon life should be out of the macro since you need to make decisions on what needs to be renewed, and not just mash them in a sequence.

When Blizzard removed them I thought my days playing the game were over. Can anyone tell me which pinbahis these macros would be better to use? So i tried out these sequences today and I was just wondering, what would be the proper way to use them? Do you just mash the button and hope for the best? You just have to spam the button and get lucky with what it cast, rend being only 10 rage you will just reapply rend a whole bunch as it cycles through everything. Arms needs to be in a castsequence. Ive been messing with it a little bit but my macro was wasting alot of rage on whirlwind.

Very Simple Fix. If you are not sure, everything can be in double quotes, it will not break anything. This is the premacro, and will be used everytime you press the button, before anything else in the macro happens. You can put your entire GCD rotation here. Put it in the order you want to cast it. This is an excellent place to put CDs that are off the GCD like bubbles and large damage CDs that you want to use anytime they are available. These are the things you change to anything you want it to do. It can be anything you want, or nothing at all, it is a completely option section. Make sure it is there, leave it alone. With the information in this post you should be able to look at any GS macro outside of advanced functions and be able to tell how it works, what it is doing, and when it is doing it.

Been toying with the gnome sequencer add on and Here is my Two Fury macros.

I still have to tab target mobs and such and move my character about, but rather than keep spamming 1 key over and over due to wrist problems I instead click a button once to start it cycling. You will get better results using the mapped keys, using the advanced setup. It simply does not go off. This addon seems buggy.
