Kay yah shrine
This is one of the 42 Hidden Shrines in BotW, kay yah shrine. It is located near the Palmorae Ruins in the Faron region. Start with the right side of the Kah Yah Shrine.

After reading the instructions, Garini informs Link that two people are meant to bow in reverence upon the two nearby Pedestals.
Kay yah shrine
The ruins are almost all the way to the water, just north of the Palmorae Beach. Garini is standing in front of a broken stone monument and after talking to him, it will trigger a Shrine Quest where you will need to find the three fragments. Garini will ask you to draw a picture of them, which basically translate to taking a picture with the game. This starts the shrine quest titled, A Fragmented Monument. The first fragment is found just to the east, next to two palm trees, right up against the wall. Pull out your camera and take a photo of the fragment. The second fragment is found just southwest of the ruins. It is in an area with a handful of crates and barrels, that are in the shallow water. Run on over and take a picture. The third fragment is a bit further away. It is at the very edge of the Peninsula, at the Soka Point on the map. This is far southeast corner of the Overworld map. Make the long journey over and take a picture of the third fragment.

The challenge inside, named Quick Thinking trial , is a puzzle that has you navigate barrels through short mazes to place them on pressure plates at the other end. Get it right, and you'll walk out a success. The Kah Yah shrine is located within the Faron region, specifically at sea level on Palmorae Beach, in the south easternmost point of the region. To get there, head due east at sea level from Lurelin Village, or paraglide down just to the south from the Muwo Jeem shrine on the region's nearby clifftop. The shrine itself is hidden, but the location of both the shrine and the quest to find it are fairly well-indicated: look for two glowing orange pads on the ground, in front of a small ruin. Revealing the Kah Yah shrine requires you to complete a brief side quest, called A Fragmented Monument.
You can use the maps in the gallery above to find it, or you can begin your journey organically in Lurelin Village. Find Zuta , a little boy, running around, and speak to him. As Garini said, the fragments are a bit easier to find at night, so create a fire and rest until the evening, if you like. Find each fragment , take a picture with your Sheikah slate, and return to Garini. The next step is to walk to one of the round platforms and kneel. Garini will do the same, and Kah Yah shrine will appear. Take a break from your day by playing a puzzle or two!

Start Location: Speak with an NPC named Garini by a pair of glowing orange pedestals at the Plamorae Ruins, at the southern base of the tall cliff of Cape Cales directly north of the large, tail-like peninsula at the very southeastern end of the Faron Tower Region map. Once you have pictures of all three monument fragments, return to Garnin and show them to him. After a brief chat, move over to one of the pedestals and crouch on it. A scene will play and the Kah Yah Shrine will appear.
