Literally tragic in so many aspects.

There are a lot of ways to kill your enemies in Elden Ring. A rather interesting option is Frostbite, one of the rarer status effects in the game. It also lowers their damage absorption and decreases their stamina regeneration for 30 seconds. If you are looking for weapons with native Frostbite buildup, here are all ten of them, ranked by their power level. That said, if you manage to hit enemies with it, you will cause 65 Frost buildup. To get it, head down the crater in Mistwood to Nokron, the Eternal City. You should see it on your right, shortly after the text announcing your arrival in the city appears on your screen. You might overlook the Frozen Needle due to its relatively low damage, being outclassed significantly by some of the other thrusting swords. However, heavy attacks with the weapon will launch a projectile, as does the unique feint attack you can do with thrusting swords.

Diablo 2 prefix
Chilling Mist inflicts that many times over and Cold-infusions have triple digit native build-up. Cons: - Glacier slow charged heavy - mid damage - lack of bleed buildup pretty much that every other katana has Pros: - incredibly stylish - cool weapon art that is sadly mostly useful against big, slow enemies - Frost buildup for 45 seconds after using weapon art All in all, one of the worst in its weapon class but personally my favourite. Should have been a straight or Hell maybe even a spear or greatspear. Just learned today that the pommel is a dragonkin soldier head. This thing now rocks at low levels. What I would do with the Serpentbone Blade katana is to make it buffable with grease or incantations Similar to Bloodhound fang or Treespear , giving you the option to get bleed from Bloodflame Blade or more poison build up from Poison Armamanent. It make sens that some have "basic" moveset, but other like this one no, it should defenetly has more unique aspects. Would make it strong but not ridiculous op. Literally tragic in so many aspects. I mean it's ok I guess, but seriously just use a Cold Uchi. But you could always just two hand a cold Uchi with chilling mist, instant proc a boss then switch back to the lightning Uchi. Shame its unique moveset form the network test was removed and added to the Serpentbone blade instead of making the other weapon different. Wish they would give it passive frostbite build up of like 50 or something since all other katanas have some passive stat buildup, but it's still pretty fun. Maybe lightning AR?
In fact, they are among the most commonly used weapons in the community.
Maybe this is powerful enough without it. I don't have the sword yet but if this weapon art is anything like the frozen lightning spear incantation it introduces a fun element of gambling into the game. Let's be honest, if you're making a katana build you're using either RoB, Moonveil, HoM or the meteoric ore blade. So the buff is meaningful? This thing doesn't even inflict bleed and the frostbite buff is temporary. Elden Ring Russian roulette. It doesn't even weigh less than the uchi despite being considerably shorter. Do note that the lightning damage buff from weapon skill doesn't scale with anything if you want to fight your way with this cool katana until end game. And for the dragonkin, poison and bleed are your best bet poison mist uchigatana worked well for me. While it's missing out on the built in status build of other katana's and the versatility of its halberd counterpart, getting the same lightning damage buff as the dragon halberd on a much faster weapon is pretty insane. Frostbite buff is pitiful It would make sens for this weapon to NOT apply bleed ONLY if frost would be native, like it would be a fun touch like the blade electrify and cold burn you making your wound instant coterised by cold! The ice lightning effect will persist for a while. No faith scaling to pair with dragon cult incant builds. But you could always just two hand a cold Uchi with chilling mist, instant proc a boss then switch back to the lightning Uchi.
I consider, that you are mistaken. Let's discuss it.
And where logic?
Joking aside!
