We just got a teaser of three new miniatures for Horus Heresy in Warhammer Community gifted hobbyists a teaser video of future models on December 27th, Getting the different armor marks in more specialty squads is always cool. Considering the Solar Auxilia have nothing in the new edition, this could be a big launch. Or maybe just a couple of units in plastic and then some resin characters and such. Either way, seeing new Solar Auxilia miniatures is great, and we are hoping for plastic squads now! The new shrouded mini is pretty close to the existing Lasrifle Section, but these are in resin. That way not only could Horus Heresy players use them, but Warhammer 40k players for cool-looking Guard squads, too. Last but not least, we have a walker.

The new miniature is cast in finely-detailed Forge World resin. In games it can unleash a toxin ejector and a hookfang to poison your enemies. The poison on the hookfang is so effective that it causes damage long after the initial attack. If the target is unfortunate enough to survive first contact, that is. The model itself is actually pretty cool, and there is nothing wrong with adding more assassins to the ranks.

If you ever wanted to play with the Solar Auxilia models, now is the time! Containing 28 brand-new miniatures, the Solar Auxilia Battle Group brings them to plastic for the first time. A five-man Line Command section consisting of an Auxilia Troop Master and four Auxilia Veterans with a variety of upgrade choices leads a complement of 20 Auxilia armed with las rifles. Starting with the battle box, this is a great way to kick off your new army and has pretty decent value inside as well! You can even check out the values of the box and find out where to get your very own here. It looks like you will get 20 models in each box, and whether you play Imperial Guard or Horus Heresy, these are prefect for both! The battle group is led by a Line Command Section, in which an Auxilia Troop Master barks orders over the din of battle, while four capable Veterans act as their command staff — hoisting the banner, relaying comms, and protecting their charge from harm. The Tactical Command looks like it will have a ton of options, and again, if you want something for your army to stand out, these are perfect! There will be three new tanks this time around in plastic, and they all look great! It seems like the Leman Russ will only come with one main loadout in the standard kit, but you can also grab the upgrade for all the extra weapons in a kit for the assault version.
