At the meeting, Larry makes up a story about being sexually assaulted by his uncle. The season 3 story arc of Larry investing in a new restaurant in L. When the chef curses up a storm and brings the packed restaurant to a stunned silence, Larry yells out his own sweary tirade, followed by Jeff and the other investors, and eventually Cheryl, Richard Lewis, and everyone else in the restaurant. The final shot of Larry proudly looking around the restaurant is comedy gold. This was the first episode to feature Leon. Smoove brought a whole new energy to the show and shook up the dynamic with his electric on-screen chemistry with Larry, introduced in the hilarious scene in which Larry interrogates Leon about a mysterious stain on his bed.

Larry David swears that season 12 is the end of Curb Your Enthusiasm. We're supposed to believe him Still, throughout red carpet interviews and HBO promotional material, the Seinfeld co-creator declared that he is finally shedding the "Larry David" persona to "become the person God intended me to be—the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character. We Curb fans here at Esquire are still in denial. Or, as I like to call it, we just know better. Larry is going to stew in that house, come up with a thousand new ideas, and we'll have season 13 within the next three years. But if this is really Larry's final farewell, we should celebrate the plus episodes he's given us so far.

This announcement leads to the Ayatollah calling for the death of Larry in other words, an actual Fatwa. This article contains references to grief, incest, and sexual assault. It's the kind of gasp-worthy bit you'll only find on Curb. A bad idea with equally bad consequences. Episode: Happy New Year. You know they did … but you wonder when. Plot summary: Larry makes progress in his rehearsals for The Producers , and he assumes the affectations of his gay choreographer. Importantly, he does this after bugging Cheryl with his wild musings and unhelpful directions on the long car ride to said baptism, which Larry mistakes for an attempted murder by drowning. As far as the show is concerned, Larry has always had a wavering relationship with his Jewish faith; often leaning into the tropes when he can get something in his favor. Episode: Insufficient Praise. Unfortunately, Larry endangers the deal after giving the doll of the daughter of an ABC executive a haircut.
