After seeing this every now and then for the past few years, I've only now realized that the horse has a Human nose and after quickly looking at several other monster designs from Berserk, I have concluded Kentaro Miura's usual strategy to make his monsters scary and creepy is to give them grotesque Human features, resulting in a sort of Uncanny Valley effect. Simple, but effective. Not only the motion is beautifully drawn. But what sells it to me is how he perfectly misses the girl's neck with the sword by a milimeter. It might be unnecesary nonsense but heck this is the kind of nonsensical nonsence I would love to pull off with my work one day.
I don't feel as though I'm on the hatetrain bandwagon for this series.
Farnese watches in horror as Guts loses himself in his wrath while he fights off the possessed hounds. She is so struck with fear that she cannot find the words to pray. In desperation, she manages to force herself to her feet and runs away from the scene. She stumbles through the darkness, completely void of protection or armor, no shirt on, and arms still bound. She finds the horse Guts rode as it struggles to get to its feet. She orders it to be still so she can mount it, but it turns its face toward her.
She later becomes a member of Guts ' traveling party and learns the art of magic under Schierke 's mentorship. As a child, Farnese was neglected by her parents and overwhelmed with fear of the heretic burnings of the time. One night, she mustered the courage to partake in the burning of a heretic, whereupon she felt a "marvelous burning in her underbelly" in enjoyment of the act. Indulging her pyrophilia as commander of the Holy Iron Chain Knights , Farnese began hunting down and burning supposed heretics at the stake, cultivating a sadistic pleasure which she comes to be in denial of. Despite her sadistic tendencies, however, she feels empathy towards those whom she considers innocents and wishes for their well-being. Meeting Guts serves as the impetus for a significant transformation of Farnese's worldview. Upon being kidnapped by the Black Swordsman and experiencing the terrors of his night , her faith is compromised, and she consequently develops of fear of him as the catalyst for her growing disillusionment. Traveling alongside Guts, Farnese becomes self-conscious of her own useless and powerlessness relative to her companions; in such self-reflection, she comes to understand why a "small" person such as herself would endeavor to appear majestic and oppress others as she has before. The courage she is overcome with upon wielding a magical silver dagger to protect Casca in Qliphoth sparks in her an interest in magic , to which she becomes Schierke 's student and commits fervently to studying the art. After much time traveling alongside Guts, Farnese becomes particularly fond of him, harboring a deep admiration for the swordsman, and partly driven to hone her magic as a means of being of further use to him; to any reassurance or expression of gratitude from Guts, Farnese finds herself overcome with joy.

Fai said: "Director-san should we keep all the character development and important story arcs? Guts isn't turning around, etc. What a crock of shit. When the fuck was she ever nice to him? Also I just noticed, as Guts is struggling to kill the apostle, Puck says "Do it like usual! It way too fast for what they were trying to accomplish to explain it to new fans. Episode feels like Berserk atleast This guy was like, the lowest of the low of apostles. Sign In Register. Guts' Theme. I didn't like it. Natsu's Rage!! A piece of Miura-branded duct tape to hold down the mess that is this series. The essence of Berserk simply isn't there.

I can totally see how Miura tried to fix this mess of a show, but man! The manga tanked after the golden age arc and never recovered. The horse rape scene was laughable. Member statistics. Jul 15, AM. The fight scene with the apostle looked terrible thanks to the CGI but oh well at we have horse rape to emphasize the shit Farnese went through, much better than the last 2 episodes but overall still a laughably bad adaptation of the manga. Well, both the manga of Berserk and Kingdom have amazing art. All of the extreme part like Rape horse were there! They talk and exchange a slash during the ending credits It felt like a parody of itself and I honestly think it could have been cut from the episode altogether. The "completely original story" supposedly penned by Miura did nothing for me.
The authoritative answer, curiously...
You have hit the mark. It seems to me it is excellent thought. I agree with you.
Bravo, fantasy))))
