The care in the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is provided by a multidisciplinary team including attending physicians, fellows, nurse coordinators, dieticians, and social workers. Once or twice each month, Marina Litvin, MD , from the Division of Endocrinology is also present in clinic to see and co-manage patients with diabetes or other endocrine-related complications of cystic fibrosis. A multidisciplinary team of lung transplant specialists including pulmonologists, nurse coordinators, and pharmacists staffs these clinics. Pulmonary and critical care fellows rotate in these transplant clinics as part of their longitudinal outpatient training. The Pre-Transplant Clinic focuses on the evaluation and management of new referrals for lung transplantation and the longitudinal care of patients with advanced lung disease who are listed and waiting or are being considered for transplantation. The Post-Transplant Clinic provides comprehensive longitudinal management for lung transplant recipients.
