One of the biggest aspects of ARK: Survival Evolved is building a base that will not only hold all of your supplies but can also withstand attacks from other players and dinosaurs. However, it is easier than you might think and a few tips and tricks are all you need to get started. It can be overwhelming to look at all of the building supplies and try to come up with something unique, yet sturdy. Just remember to let your creative side out during the process and make it all your own in ARK: Survival Evolved! The newest addition is the Genesis Part 2 DLC which brought a new map, items, and creatures for you to enjoy. By Fulton , December 24, in General Discussion. I would like a open base design so i can enjoy the enviorment but i would also like plenty of dino storage. Place ramps up walls to store dino's on. Opens up floor plan while still giving you a lot of storage space. Then you can build small and efficient and just have an open yard when you bring them out to play. I like to go for a sort of neo-industrial design where the ground floor is two walls high and divided into rooms for sleeping, storage, cooking, crafting, etc. You can use an elevator attached to a large trapdoor to carry dinos to the roof and show off to your neighbors. Behemoth gates make excellent walls and are fairly cost effective. Surround your base with them, especially if you're up where gigas spawn as you want to "hide" your dinos. You should head over to youtube and check out Aaron Longstaff's stuff.
Voronja Posted December 24, This will also make you appear as a more formidable opponent as well, ark base ideas. The idea is to make your enemy have to use maximum effort to break into your base and using pillars the right way can make it a true challenge for them.

A RK: Survival Evolved is an online multiplayer survival game that has some light RPG elements , in which players take the role of a survivor who is trying to progress through the world and gain experience , upgrade stats or gather materials in order to survive in a wild biome full of Dinos! Another basic element of the game is building , which is used to create bases for you, your loot, and the Dinos you will tame! Small and circular, with minimalist features and design , this beautiful base proves to all of us that even the most cramped of places, can fit enough stuff inside to suit your needs if the design is right. The creator, xatnys, used no mods on this creation, which is pretty convenient for vanilla-players! Sitharias — ARK PvE Builder here, wisely created a customized version, made with foundations walls and ceilings , which helped to create a bigger spiral staircase than the default one. The staircase was placed inside a tall tower, on the edge of a cliff, making it extra-breathtaking! Want a base that is fast , floats on the water , and can protect you from harsh situations? Look no further because this Speed Boat is all you need.

If you need a refresher on any of that, feel free to check out the earlier chapters in this guide. Additionally, you should attempt to establish your starter base close to a source of water, such as a river or stream. Not only will this make it easier to quench your thirst and combat extreme heat, it will prove invaluable when it comes to cooking and farming. Depending on the type of server you join, you might quickly discover that much of the island has already been claimed by other tribes, making it tough to set up a base of your own. Often, tribes will reserve land to prevent others from building nearby, usually by placing down foundations or pillars. When it comes to base building, you can be as practical, or as fanciful, as you please. Currently, there are four tiers of building materials in ARK: Thatch, Wood, Stone and Metal, and each affords greater protection than the last.

Opens up floor plan while still giving you a lot of storage space. Recommended Posts. While not the roomiest of top builds ever made, it still definitely deserves an honorable mention for creativity and design. Most players would think that this intricate building was made by using cheats or mods , but it actually requires neither. Many have found that for PVP servers the best method is to start with a hexagon and transform it into a dodecagon. I've used a few of his designs with a bit of tweeking to suit personal needs and they are great. Place ramps up walls to store dino's on. Creator Sven P managed to design a perfectly functioning and practical, but tilted, version of an epic skyscraper. For me, wood and metal is a no no. One of the more classically elegant builds is this one designed by Sven P.
Contrary to popular belief, Studio Wildcard's Ark: Survival Evolved is not entirely about running away from dinosaurs that are trying to eat you and everything you own. That's only about 50 percent of it. Released in , the entertaining game combines the art of not dying with taming prehistoric creatures and building expansive bases.
While probably not a very practical build for those wanting a huge dino pen, it is definitely a favorite of every pirate out there. The newest addition is the Genesis Part 2 DLC which brought a new map, items, and creatures for you to enjoy. So much so, that players everywhere are showing off their creative talents through awesome ARK builds that are not only practical, but mesmerizing as well. After you become a natural at building a base, as it may take a failed base or two to reach this point, don't be afraid to let your creative side run free. Those who truly want to master this build should look for the perfect location, like on top of a waterfall where it looks most majestic. Posted December 25, This way you don't have to access each creature's inventory in order to feed it, as this can be a time-consuming process. Anky gets dropped near forge, Beaver gets dropped near wood storage etc. You need to make sure that it is big enough to encapsulate your base, all of your creatures, and still have room for future tribe members. This is exactly what it sounds like: an entire skyscraper.
It is remarkable, rather amusing phrase
I consider, that you are not right. I am assured. I can prove it. Write to me in PM.
It doesn't matter!
