In keeping with good beginnings I am off to have berries, nuts and yoghurt. Could murder a load of toast though!

Just wondering if anyone signed up to the Zoe app and lost weight? Hi, I'm nearly at the end of the four month period and have lost no weight. I think it depends on the reason you're not as slim as you like - I'm a saint Monday-Thursday and then eat and drink too much Fri-Sun and I haven't changed my weekend ways enough to see a difference in weight. Worth it in other ways though I think and I'm sure if I reigned in weekends it would have had bigger impact. I feel WAY better, loads more energy etc, but was hoping to be slimmer too! One of the problems is I end up eating a lot of nuts and cheese, and a lot of pulses so might try and change that to fish and see if it makes a difference…. I am doing it. But the report was a wake up call - worse than expected blood sugar and fat responses though decent gut biome diversity. Im doing it for health reasons as I want to live in good health for as long as possible. I do feel better and definitely more confident that I'm generally making good food choices for me which adds a bit of feeling virtuous! Unfortunately portion size is still a thing. If I had done it a few years ago I think it would have been much more impactful as since then I'd already basically given up carbs - my blood sugar score was SO bad but my ex-pasta habit would have made it even worse! I'm still glad I did it though. Hoping that the weight loss comes slow and steady - I'm quietly making better choices but nothing dramatic, so over months it should surely add up?!!!
I noticed this as some 'negative' feedback on another platform.

I am enjoying the glucose monitor although I could have saved loads of money if I'd just bought that instead of Zoe. In mmol as per the glucose monitor. They won't, presumably can't, answer. So it's completely subjective guesswork then as to what a big spike is, or a moderate one etc, Their app asks us to say how much of a spike we saw on our monitor, yet refuse to say how many mmol.
I'm a month in. Joined for very similar reasons. Just had my results which were as expected, and really liking it so far. May I say he looks gaunt I've done it and am 2 months in. I'm late forties and overweight. The testing is interesting, but where I have found it most useful is after the results come in and the app opens up with your personalised scores. This has really driven home to me how bad some foods are for my health. I feel so much better and have so much energy. My mood is better, and I sleep well.

Not sure this is the right place for this Anyone else doing the Zoe Nutrition Testing? My results were poor, so now I'm tackling my diet. I thought it was pretty good but it's clear it needs a major overhaul.

After an initial few days of transition, I have had no trouble maintaining my changes. In keeping with good beginnings I am off to have berries, nuts and yoghurt. I do think that looking after your health is worth it in the long run but I haven't seen this test so not sure what costs are. Blood glucose- can anyone help here? Add nuts and seeds to everything. No one knows what YOU know, so how can anyone here advise on what they have learned as you could know that already. I'm doing this. I did it. I noticed this as some 'negative' feedback on another platform. I tried a slice of gluten free bread for breakfast and that whacked up my glucose.
ZOE is a program that uses an analysis of your gut bacteria, blood fat, and blood sugar responses to personalize food choices to support your health. Backed by clinical research and mostly easy to follow protocols, ZOE is worth trying so that you can get a better understanding of your gut and metabolism.

The high scoring meals are remarkably consistent across everyone I've seen with relatively minor variations in scores. Or Emperor's new clothes? I was desperate to get some 'real' food later in the day. I know I could buy the glucose monitor but I'm interested in my bodies response to fat and what my gut biome is like.
