You never know how strong you are

We will all go through it at some point. Sometimes it is triggered by a major life event such as the loss of a loved one, or a betrayal by someone we loved, or the loss of a job, or a debilitating sickness or injury. Sometimes it is triggered by a dream that goes unfulfilled for an extended period of time such as an inability to conceive a child, or an inability to get ahead in your job or business venture, or an inability to find that special person to love and spend your life with. And sometimes it is triggered not by one big thing, but by the compilation of a million little things going wrong or not going right that have slowly piled on you until they have become unbearable. Regardless of how it is triggered, reaching that point of absolute emotional exhaustion is one of the most difficult things to deal with in life. When we do humble ourselves enough to ask Him for help — sometimes we see immediate improvements, but other times I believe He allows us to struggle through hard things for the purpose of giving us experience as well as to build our strength, courage, and determination. As much as I would prefer to have the immediate improvement over the struggle, I will say that when He allows us to struggle He never makes us struggle alone, so long as we are humble enough to ask for His help. And when we ask, I believe He often sends Angels to stand by us and help us get through our most difficult times. Your circumstances may not be improved in all the ways which you desire. But you will have been given new strength to carry your burdens and new confidence that when your burdens become too heavy, the Lord, whom you have served, will carry what you cannot. When you are facing a time where you feel you have come to the end of your rope remember that the quicker you get on your knees and ask God to help, the faster He can send Angels to help you.
