Wrestlemania is the grandest spectacle in sports entertainment, and this year it lived up to the name. Night Two kept the energy going; some instant classics were put on tonight. However, what will be most talked about regarding Wrestlemania 39 will without question be the ending of the main event. Out of all singles matches on the Wrestlemania card, this one probably had the least amount of hype behind it. When the match was first announced, many fans assumed WWE was planning to swerve them and actually put on Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley. Instead, we got the match as promised. For the last few years, virtually every Brock Lesnar match has been the same; both men hit each other with finishing maneuvers and wrap things up within a few minutes.

It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. It was the first WrestleMania to livestream on Binge in Australia. The card comprised a total of 15 matches, with eight on Night 1 and seven on Night 2. This subsequently made Reigns the second wrestler after Hulk Hogan to enter three consecutive WrestleManias as world champion during the same reign but it made him the only wrestler to defend a world championship at each. Night 2 was also notable for the return of Shane McMahon , who last appeared at the Royal Rumble. The event received generally positive reviews from critics; the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the SmackDown Women's Championship matches were singled out as highlights throughout the entire event, with the former two rated five stars by Dave Meltzer. Although noting the event's reptiveness, critics also praised the Men's WrestleMania Showcase fatal four-way tag team match , Logan Paul vs. Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio , and the Hell in a Cell match.

For the second night in a row, WWE presented a WrestleMania Showcase match aimed at getting additional participants onto the show. It was fairly obvious who would win, but the match featured some solid work from the other three teams if nothing else. They were the ones who put in the work, doing the heavy lifting while showing off their skills.
