The supernatural world of Bleach has always been filled with surprises. But since the end of the Fullbring saga, there has been speculation about whether or not Ichigo still has these powers. In this article, we will explore the evidence and answer the question: Does Ichigo Still Have Fullbring? Ichigo lost his soul reaper powers following an intense and climactic battle with Sosuke Aizen, who was the strongest character in the Bleach universe at that point in the series. Consequently, Ichigo had to make significant sacrifices. In preparation for his final battle against Aizen, Ichigo undergoes rigorous training in the Dangai, a realm where time stands still. This allowed him to gain years of training in mere seconds, enabling him to confront his opponent.

Ichigo obviously inherited Quincy Status from his mother, but where did he get his Quincy and Hollow abilities? Breaking down the family tree and deep-diving into Ichigo's abilities isn't easy. This requires examing where they came from and how they manifest. Ichigo's lineage allows him to draw from a power supply of Quincy , Shinigami and Hollow energy. A former Shinigami captain, Ichigo's father Isshin is the reason for his inheritance of Shinigami energy, while his mother Masaki, a pure-blood Quincy, is responsible for both his inherited Quincy and Hollow energies. The creation and inheritance of the hybrid Shinigami-Hollow powers is explained during the Thousand Year Blood War arc , where it is revealed that Masaki was attacked and infected by a Hollow prior to Ichigo's birth. To save Masaki from the Hollow, Isshin donates the entirety of his Shinigami powers to her in order to balance out the Hollow's infectious energy. As a result, Masaki's soul becomes a fusion of Shinigami and Hollow energy, and it is this Shinigami-Hollow energy that is inherited by Ichigo. As Quincy status is a matter of blood rather than spirit, Ichigo's inheritance of Quincy power is free of both Shinigami and Hollow influence. Due to Isshin being rendered human upon saving Masaki, Ichigo is only a half-blood Quincy. Ichigo's Shinigami powers were first awakened by Rukia through the absorption of her Shinigami powers, and as his Hollow and Shinigami powers are mixed, the Hollow powers were simultaneously awakened by this event. In the world of Bleach , there are three main powers that often oppose one another. The Shinigami who reside in Soul Society, the Quincy who often live either on earth or in their Wandenreich , and lastly, the Hollow who either appeared on Earth or roamed their own dimension, the Hueco Mundo. Now, it's finally being made clear just what makes Ichigo so special and powerful in Bleach , and it turns out to have everything to do with his parents. Fans of Bleach have known for quite a while that Ichigo's father, Isshin Kurosaki, was once a Soul Reaper himself, and that seemed like it probably played a role in why Ichigo took to the Soul Reaper powers so quickly. However, it was revealed in this season that Ichigo's mother, Masaki, was special, too: she was one of Bleach's Quincy , like Uryu, and had some phenomenal spiritual powers of her own. But even that isn't the whole story on how Ichigo got to be who and what he is, as the most recent episodes have revealed. In the two part mid-season finale for Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War , a series of extended flashbacks reveal the circumstances of how Ichigo's parents met. Isshin was fighting a dangerous, experimental Hollow when Masaki came to his rescue.
