Asked by xcraft12June 18, I have always been a little confused about power efficiency and I haven't been able to find much warframe ability efficiency to really help me clear this up. So, Is there a cap on power efficiency?

Ability Efficiency linearly affects the energy cost of Warframe abilities. Channeled abilities drain energy at a specified rate. Ability Efficiency affects the energy drained at each tick as expected, but because Ability Duration affects the amount of time between these ticks, the formula for effective Ability Efficiency for channeled abilities is as follows:. See the graph on the right for examples. The in-game energy bar display is rounded down to the nearest whole number, but the costs of the abilities are not. This results in the discrepancies in the apparent cost of abilities with Ability Efficiency mods. For example, an ability with 25 energy base cost will cost If this ability is used multiple times in a row, it will appear to cost 18 energy, then 17 energy, then 18 energy, then 17 energy and so on. Some abilities are toggled on and last until the user turns them off or runs out of energy, such as Hildryn 's Haven or Chroma 's Spectral Scream. Abilities are special skills that all Warframes , Archwings , and Necramechs possess, which are used to provide tactical advantages in battle by either affecting enemies directly or bolstering teammates in some manner. Every Warframe has a set of four unique Abilities that directly influence their gameplay and their role within a team. For example, Frost 's Abilities are based around slowing down enemies and blocking damage, making him more suited to a defensive role. Nova , with her damage-oriented Ability set, is a good choice for offensive playstyles. Most Abilities require Energy , which is spent every time an Ability is used. Warframes have only a limited Energy capacity, so Ability use must be carefully managed to prevent running out of Energy at critical moments. Some Warframe Abilities fall into more than one classification, while Reunite is the only ability with no classification.
Melee Combo is a power source that grows as the Tenno strikes or blocks with melee weapons, multiplying the damage of certain attacks. Heavy attacks consume the melee combo gauge, called the combo counter , for a burst of damage from 1x to 12x. Normal melee attacks are not affected by the combo multiplier, though combo scaling effects and mods can apply to all melee attacks. An inactive melee combo resets to zero after 5 seconds. Different attacks award varying amounts of combo points, depending on their strength and number of hits. The combo reset period is affected by combo duration , and combo consumption from heavy attacks is affected by Heavy Attack Efficiency. Only successful strikes against an enemy will award combo points. Some exceptions to these values exist, such as the last attack of Swirling Tiger 's Dancing Hunter combo or the first hit of Homing Fang 's Cutting Arches.

So, At first, this seems fine, just an added mechanic, maybe you choose between duration and efficiency mods and get a nice build going. However, this completely breaks Fleeting Expertise.
