The wagon master, Flint McCullough, tries to intervene, but Tim is determined to go through with his plan. Meanwhile, Nancy is left with the task of trying to gather enough money to buy back the cattle that Tim sold. With the help of a kind-hearted woman in a nearby town, Nancy is able to earn enough money to buy back the cattle, but not without a struggle. She ends up getting kidnapped by a group of bandits, who won't release her without a ransom.
