Vegeta's trainers were shocked to see that Vegeta's Power was increasing rapidly. He was already identified as one of the Strongest Saiyans in the universe. Vegeta, with his comrade Nappa, made their way to earth to get hold of the Dragon Balls. Hope was lost, until Goku came and Defeated Nappa, and Vegeta destroyed him. In a fit of rage, Vegeta threatened to Blow up the Earth leaving Goku at the burden of saving the planet. The two clashed at full Power and their Ki blasts were stated to be the same. Vegeta searched the atmosphere for hours for a moon but couldn't find one.

His rivalry with protagonist Goku has caused this proud fighter to reach ever-increasing levels of power. As the prince of an elite warrior race known as the Saiyans, he's not content being second to anyone. The Saiyans of Dragon Ball Z introduced scouters to measure one another's power. Unfortunately, these devices quickly became obsolete. The characters simply grew too powerful to quantify by numbers. At this point, fans can only guess at the power levels of Vegeta and his fellow Z-fighters. When Vegeta first comes onto the scene in the aptly named Saiyan Saga, he boasts about his class as a warrior elite. His power level seems to back that up, sitting at 18, Factor in his Oozaru transformation , and that number multiplies tenfold. It's no wonder that he can fly circles around Goku. Even after King Kai's training, Goku's power level barely cracks 8, 9, in the anime.
Even in seven years of peacetime, Vegeta spends all his time training, albeit not as intensely as before.

Over the course of Dragon Ball 's various sagas, Vegeta attains a handful of other Super Saiyan forms, but he typically remains one step behind Goku. Dragon Ball Super slightly revises this formula and power structure. Vegeta not only catches up with Goku, but he begins to develop his skillsets and transformations.

The Great Ape transformation is Stated to be 10 times more powerful than a Saiyan's power level, and Vegeta stated that he lost his battle power. Goku stated this as well. Vegeta received a Zenkai boost after his battle with Goku on Earth, putting Vegeta on the same level as Goku when using the Kaio-Ken x3. After being beaten by Zarbon, Vegeta is put in the rejuvenation chamber giving him another boost in power. He later defeats Zarbon effortlessly and is even able to challenge Recoome.

The heroes' training for the Androids and Cell leads to some curious experiments when it comes to Saiyan power boosts. Both characters eventually find stronger alternatives to Super Saiyan Blue , but it's the longest period of time when Vegeta isn't trailing behind Goku and trying to match his milestones. Vegeta must be stronger than Piccolo and Frieza's 3rd form, based on Piccolo's comments and observations, but still nowhere near Final form's power. It pumps up his muscles, but it sacrifices speed. Vegeta had trained for three years and had grown incredibly Strong. These forms are unique in their powers and abilities, but they all push the Prince toward the same goal of Saiyan supremacy -- and surpassing Goku. I don't know about the manga but I know in the anime it shows that Vegeta's in pretty bad shape from being worn out after this. So, why does he seem only slightly superior to Jeice. This lets him make short work of Top and even pressure Jiren, the two mightiest fighters from the elite Universe The second saga in Dragon Ball Super yields Vegeta's biggest boost in years. Well for one thing he was hardly taking Jeice seriously.

I will be making a few assumptions to make this sensible: If we don't actually have a scouter reading of a person's power, such as Vegeta's 24, when he's powering up against Cui , then that power level is an estimate, and the "official" numbers are really open to interpretation. Goku tried to amplify his base form with Ultra Instinct, but he persuaded him to go Super Saiyan and use his mind to dodge, after he was shot at a vital point. While in Strongest Form 2, in the initial phase of their fight Baby Vegeta is able to hold his own against Super Saiyan 4 Goku, and even hurt him, though he is overall outmatched in the battle, he then uses a Revenge Death Ball, though Goku takes the attack head-on with no damage. Afterwards the two of them were beyond weakened and could barely carry their own body weight. Tournament of power 2 : U6,U7,U11 vs the other universes who weren't in the 1st. So at best he was using 2. But Jiren did admit that the outcome of the attack was better than he expected before he shot Vegeta with a powerful ki blast.
