Vegeta's trainers were shocked to see that Vegeta's Power was increasing rapidly. He was already identified as one of the Strongest Saiyans in the universe. Vegeta, with his comrade Nappa, made their way to earth to get hold of the Dragon Balls. Hope was lost, until Goku came and Defeated Nappa, and Vegeta destroyed him. In a fit of rage, Vegeta threatened to Blow up the Earth leaving Goku at the burden of saving the planet. The two clashed at full Power and their Ki blasts were stated to be the same. Vegeta searched the atmosphere for hours for a moon but couldn't find one.

The heroes' training for the Androids and Cell leads to some curious experiments when it comes to Saiyan power boosts. Both characters eventually find stronger alternatives to Super Saiyan Blue , but it's the longest period of time when Vegeta isn't trailing behind Goku and trying to match his milestones.
