I shipped an item via USPS small envelope parcel and when I track the parcel it says "alert, awaiting delivery scan". Should I take some actions or what to do? What does that mean literally? I would not worry about it yet. It may be the package was out for delivery, but the mail carrier may have forgotten to scan the package. Either that, or USPS system hasn't updated the status yet.
