Melony, also called the Destroyer of Fish by the Sam's Club chat, was the person that tried to end the Sam's Club stream. She got the title "Destroyer of Fish" because of the people in the stream pretending to be fish and a part of the Fish Gang. However, it was technically not Melony that ended the stream. Full gameplay was streamed by Twitch user JustIchor, who repeatedly insisted that he got the game "legally" from Walmart, and was confident that no terms and conditions were being broken by streaming the game so early. However, it seems that Twitch disagreed, as their entire channel has since been taken down "at the request of the copyright holder". Before the stream was taken down, JustIchor was showing off combat and some early areas in the game, as well as answering questions about how it feels to play. They repeatedly insisted that they purchased the game legitimately when accused of getting the code from Capcom and breaking an embargo. While this might not have been the case, it still seems that Capcom argued that the stream was in breach of its copyright, as the whole channel has since been nuked. No other streamers were sharing gameplay footage ahead of time, so it's not clear how widespread these early sales are if that version of events is true after all. In any case, fans should be mindful of spoilers being shared online, even if it looks like Capcom is being proactive in taking footage down.
