After two Troodons mate , the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Troodon. Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild Troodons will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor. I've seen a lot of people complain about these little vicious fellas, myself included at first. I've seen a lot of fanbois and elitists telling people to git gud. But I haven't seen anyone try and offer some advice on dealing with them. They've got a big aggro range for their size at least, it seems to be about the same as a Raptor so that means they can easily surprise you at night. They are however rather passive in daylight, only attacking if attacked or if you get too close. They are NEVER alone, even if your mark is lvl 10 there is always the possibility of a lvl Troodon be just behind that bush to help it's friend. One bite from each and you will hit the ground from torpor before you can run to escape. Bring a shield and a friendly pack of tamed carnivores Dilos or Raptors.
