Log In Sign Up. I am currently trying to tame a small army of Troodon who are in a place I can just throw sacrifices into that I built. However, when I do throw the sacrifices in, without fail, the sacrifice just disappears after being attacked and the "Your tame was killed by Troodon" doesn't even show up. It's almost like my tame is despawning. Why is this happening, I just want to tame some freaking Troodon and am so annoyed! Pokemaster - 1 year ago - report. They've got a big aggro range for their size at least, it seems to be about the same as a Raptor so that means they can easily surprise you at night. They are however rather passive in daylight, only attacking if attacked or if you get too close. They are NEVER alone, even if your mark is lvl 10 there is always the possibility of a lvl Troodon be just behind that bush to help it's friend. One bite from each and you will hit the ground from torpor before you can run to escape.

Quite possibly the most intelligent non-human creature on the island, Troodon Magnanimus is an incredibly fast learner. It understands meaningful experiences much more quickly than other creatures including humans , and its social nature means it also teaches its packmates, making them more clever too. If Troodon's cleverness didn't make it formidable, then its tactics and biology do. It specifically pack-hunts at night when we are most vulnerable, and sees humans as its primary prey. This audacity is made especially dangerous due to its serrated fangs' poison, which drains stamina from any creature, but outright paralyzes humans. Thankfully Troodon is fairly small. Were it larger, it might well have become the dominant creature of its ecosystem.

The Troodon Magnanimus is a carnivore that was seen during the late Cretaceous period that has a very aggressive behavior at night. This creature is capable of dealing torpor damage to enemies it attacks, knocking them out and keeping them paralyzed with continuous attacks. Troodon do not usually pose much of a threat during the morning and will only attack those that get to near it but when nightfall comes, it turns into a very aggressive predator. These creatures will attack humans that get within range but during the night, they will seek to attack even at further distances due to their night aggressiveness. Taming a Troodon can be a hard task but in the end, it pays off with the torpor attacks and its ability to track enemies and different types of item containers. Troodon are considered one of the smartest creatures around as they learn quickly and seem to be able to teach similar members of their pack in a way, making them altogether work efficiently as a group. Not only is the intelligence of the Troodon shown by its actions but also its skill is visible by the way it can work together with others and how it can effectively execute strategic attacks even when alone. Troodon are some of the hardest creatures to tame because their loyalty is not easily earned as they require more of a sacrifice rather than domestication to befriend a survivor or tribe.
