Titan legion colour schemes

Forgot your password? Is there any Titan Legion with a mostly metallic scheme? Its mostly grey with a few Yellow armour parts, so you could replace the Grey parts with dulled down Metal colors. I dont know how good your painting skills are, but i would do a metallic bascoat and airbrush some grey over the armour panels and give them a light drybrush with something like Scale 75 Decayed Metal and some dark steel metel to get a bit of the metallic sheen back. These guys have yellow parts and I am currently not keen on painting that colour. How much room is there in 30K to create your own Titan Legion? Space Marines are set in stone. Can the same be said about the Titans? If not I just come up with a cheesy name for the Legion and my own colour scheme. So GW came up with the cheesy Legio Metallica during the 80s totally not ripping off a certain heavy metal band. How about a Legio with the name of "Kings of Metal" with an oily metallic colour scheme to go along with my Iron Hands? They would taunt the traitors with scrap code chatter such as "Wimps and posers leave the hall" and would "blow their speakers" by increasing the sounds of their war horns to the max. I think Legio Metallica or Legio Ignatum would look cool with a metallic scheme… at least for the red. Otherwise, just pick a scheme that you think looks good with your force and go from there. In truth a Titan has only three enemies: folly, hubris and another of its own kind. Each Titan Legion is based on a Mechanicus Forge World and remains under the direct control of the Adeptus Mechanicus, who jealously guard these mighty war machines and have the power to sanction which war zones they will commit their forces to. It is this power that gives the rulers of the Adeptus Mechanicus much of their influence when it comes to determining when the armies of the Imperium will fight. It is a power which is coveted by other factions on Terra -- especially the priests of the Ecclesiarchy , who would dearly love the reliable support of Titans for their Wars of Faith. The Titan Legions of the Adeptus Mechanicus are amongst the most powerful military entities within the Imperium of Man. Ancient and implacable, Titans are colossal engines of war, massive robotic combat walkers the size of multi-story buildings rightly known as "god-machines" or "god-engines" to the Tech-priests, who revere them as the physical embodiments of the Machine God. Even the smallest class of Titan is mighty enough to destroy an entire tank squadron in a span of seconds or level a city block.

The Warp Runners are well-known for setting the tempo of war and marching swiftly to the sound of battle, their god-engines devouring kilometres beneath their massive stride. Indeed, one only has to look to the Forge World of Lucius , homeworld of the Legio Astorum , to understand from whence such arrogance comes. Known as the "Hollow Forge," a name earned by the artificial sun that sits within the hollowed-out centre of the planet, all born upon the Forge World take pride in achieving that which others deem impossible. The burning star held within the centre of Lucius is perhaps the greatest testament to its people's success beyond expectations, for the artificial sun provides near-boundless power to the Forge World while also sealing its fate, for all, including the Tech-priests of Lucius itself, know that a day must come when the artificial sun's containment will fail and the Forge World will be consumed by its fury.
