I was uncertain about what order I wanted to read the "Throne of Glass" series in when I devoured it this fall. I've read "Throne of Glass" before, as well as Sarah J.
Maas and the seemingly many opinions on how to read this series. Also, Hulu bought the rights to this series to make it into a TV show, so I am very much hoping that if this gets more traction we will one day see this TV series! If you want to find out how to read all of Sarah J. I have also made a complete guide for Fourth Wing that I am sure you will enjoy if you are enjoying the Throne of Glass series! This is such a good book series. If you enjoy fantasy novels with an emotional impact or you just want to read about a teenage assassin for hire turn would-be royal assassin, you will undoubtedly love this series. Ok, so, I first heard about this read on a facebook page that I am in, and I have to admit, I am so glad I found out about it! It also probably would have made sense to read Tower of Dawn when I first got it, but I waited until Kingdom of Ash was released to get around to it. Kind of glad that I did and I was glad that my first read was the tandem read. Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn run on the near exact same timeline. While Aelin is off doing her own thing in Empire of Storms, we see what Chaol is up to while he is healing over in Tower of Dawn. There are events that happen in both and by switching you can bridge the gap between them. If reading this as a reread, this should be fun for you. If this is your first time, prepare for things to get a little wild! I found that the easiest way to get through the swap list was to go and tag each swap point with a sticky tab. When reading, remove the tab, stick it on the back of your bookmark before placing it at your spot before swapping. I hope you guys enjoy the read as much as I did!

There are about five different ways you can read through the series—and the best part is that you can choose whichever one fits your style! For the most suspenseful in my opinion , spoiler-free way to read the Throne of Glass series, you should choose the romantic route. However, instead of skipping TOD like some suggest, you can do a tandem read of the two books, allowing you to experience both and move right to KOA afterward.
