Maas and the seemingly many opinions on how to read this series. Also, Hulu bought the rights to this series to make it into a TV show, so I am very much hoping that if this gets more traction we will one day see this TV series! Ok, so, I first heard about this read on a facebook page that I am in, and I have to admit, I am so glad I found out about it! It also probably would have made sense to read Tower of Dawn when I first got it, but I waited until Kingdom of Ash was released to get around to it. Kind of glad that I did and I was glad that my first read was the tandem read. Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn run on the near exact same timeline. While Aelin is off doing her own thing in Empire of Storms, we see what Chaol is up to while he is healing over in Tower of Dawn. There are events that happen in both and by switching you can bridge the gap between them. If reading this as a reread, this should be fun for you. If this is your first time, prepare for things to get a little wild! I found that the easiest way to get through the swap list was to go and tag each swap point with a sticky tab.
