Wherever hope fails, wherever families are broken, wherever hunger prowls, wherever children are forgotten, we are there. Since , The Salvation Army has been meeting the needs of the fallen, broken, hungry and forgotten. The Salvation Army continues to face challenges each year, that make the need for its services even greater. This year is no exception. The Salvation Army has been on the front line of the ongoing homeless pandemic, across the Intermountain Division—filling , shelter beds over the past year. We continue to partner with state agencies to provide wraparound and transitional housing services, to help our shelter residents find permanent housing, affordable medical care, and the support they need to become independent. Additionally, we successfully transitioned nearly people from our sobriety and recovery programs into permanent housing. The Salvation Army wants to make sure the holidays are a special time for everyone—especially families in need in our community. Nearly 80, toys were provided to children over the last year, with the help of our annual Toy Drive and Angel Tree giving program.
