We have a wonderful staff of teachers who are experienced both as performers and teachers. Now serving over students per week ages 6 to adult. Premier music and movement programs for children newborn to 6 years old. Parent and child classes newborn - 2 years, year olds learn music concepts, year olds learn to read music and play an instrument in a fun group setting. The Music Place is for all people who wish to get involved in music. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced musician, there is something on offer for you. We are an educational centre devoted to teaching music in an inspirational way. There are lots of performance opportunities throughout the year, as well as Music Place bands, instrumental groups and choirs to get involved with. The Music Place was set up by Lucy in She wanted to get away from the stuffy, old fashioned idea of music education. To do this, she created an environment which merged the positive elements of traditional music teaching with a more contemporary, exciting and inspirational approach. The school is now in its 23rd year and continues to flourish. Our mission is to offer the best tuition for all instruments, styles, ages and abilities under one roof. Our philosophy is on combining dedication and enjoyment to produce well rounded musicians.

These paths for early childhood exploration, vocal, instrumental and special needs are each carefully designed to keep students inspired to enjoy music for a lifetime, the music place. We believe the best results come from a friendly and welcoming environment. Open to year olds!

Since this was more convenient, I continued online lessons, and with the help of amazing teachers, achieved a distinction in Grade 6 which I am very pleased about" — Jashan. I am not a great organizer, but this is easy. Thanks to my great tutor, who makes it all happen, I have lots of fun learning from the comfort of my home. Serving Central and South San Jose, this newest location has a cozy dance studio as well as 4 music studios which are used to offer music therapy and music classes for children and adults. Serving West San Jose, Milpitas, and Santa Clara areas, this quaint campus features off street parking in the front and rear, surrounded by Australian willows.
