We were on holiday from Surrey and only found the pub on our last day, what a shame. Would have eaten here every day if discovered earlier. Great looking venue and lovely atmosphere. Super country food and very competitively priced. Have recommended to friends already who travel up soon. Hours : Newton-on-the-Moor, Morpeth Menu. The food was superb and served promptly and hot. Overall a great dining experience in a small village. January Had a light lunch in the bar, as we were having dinner later. Served quickly lovely soup and nice ceaser salad.
