So I have a crapload of the other common gem Devar or whatever but cannot get a hold of much azurite. I seem to get more azurite in the central part of the map, but the problem is that the central part of the map is not very rocky and therefore doesn't spawn many gem patches. So I have a couple questions. Nothing really seems to increase the chance of getting certain gems; it's all pretty much random for me. I've mined all over the map, mined for several hours a day at one stage until I got all that I need to progress for now, so I've been fishing. The only thing I haven't tested is having a 4 man mining team staying within affinity range with resource drop chance boosters. Apart from that though, running solo I've seen nothing to indicate a change in drops unfortunately.
