Fans of Stargate SG-1 will know Teal'c was fond of tealc "Indeed," but exactly tealc many times did he utter this catchphrase over the course of the series? The Stargate franchise kicked off with the film, tealc, directed by blockbuster auteur Roland Emmerich Independence Day, tealc. The film involved the discovery of an ancient ring-shaped gateway that opens a portal to another planet. Emmerich originally planned a series of films, which would feature the return of stars James Spader and Kurt Russell The Thingbut this didn't ultimately come to pass.
He did have sincere emotional moments too, particularly when his family was involved, when his team was threatened, or when his honor or freedom was impugned. His rebellion against Apophis meant he had to leave his family on Chulak, seeking to protect them from the fallout of his choice, but the result is that his wife and son are ostracized from Jaffa society. In the process, he discovers his wife has married another Jaffa, one who is able to provide for her and her son without the threat of excommunication. He resolves to help them, and to free the other Jaffa that have been enslaved there, but he struggles to return to his old physical abilities. He blames a warrior called Arkad, who is known to be especially cruel, and becomes ruthless as he hunts for him. He has had to confront his trauma from his years as a slave under Apophis, as well as learning to accept past events that can no longer be changed. His greatest challenge was discovering how to balance his identity as a father with his role as a warrior, and how to make the two sides of himself work in tandem.

Teal'c has proven himself to be a warrior of outstanding integrity and conviction and an invaluable member of SG As a Jaffa, Teal'c's life has been extended by the symbiotes he has carried since childhood. He was born over years ago, his birthdate roughly corresponding to April 11, by the Earth calendar, and he was given the name Teal'c, meaning "strength," by his father, Ronac. Ronac was the First Prime of Cronus when Teal'c was a child. He was commanded to attack a more powerful Goa'uld in an impossible battle, and following his inevitable defeat, he was killed by Cronus in a slow and painful death. Teal'c and his mother were exiled and fled to Chulak, where young Teal'c, driven by vengeance, vowed to become the strongest Jaffa he could so that one day he would be named the First Prime of Apophis, sworn enemy of Cronus. With other young warriors, including Fro'tak and Va'lar, Teal'c was trained according to the Rules of Engagement, learning the martial arts of Mastaba and Lok'nel. Sustained by the healing powers of the symbiote he carried, and driven by a fierce determination, Teal'c mastered the art of warfare and learned to pilot a death glider and teltac. Bra'tac recognized something of himself in Teal'c, and chose him as his apprentice, training him to follow in his footsteps as a consummate warrior and pilot. The Goa'uld wish only the strong to prevail, and Teal'c emerged victorious from the Final Challenge, taking his place as a member of Apophis's personal guard, and wearing the black forehead tattoo of his rank. From his teacher, Teal'c also learned Bra'tac's beliefs that the Goa'uld were false gods, but despite his doubts, he proved himself in battle and eventually succeeded Bra'tac as Apophis's First Prime, wearing a tattoo of pure gold. For many years, Teal'c served Apophis and led his armies in battle.
Apophis was killed, but Teal'c still refused to believe the truth. Kelno'reem was no longer necessary tealc effective, his body now required sleep, and his strength never fully returned, tealc.
Teal'c is a Jaffa from the planet Chulak , a planet orbiting a binary star system. He will be years old in the year , after aging 50 years trapped on the Odyssey. Chosen because it means "strength" in the Goa'uld language , Teal'c was named by his father, Ronac. He was born on a world under the control of Cronus circa , where his father served as Cronus' First Prime. After failing to win an unwinnable battle, Cronus killed Ron'ac , and exiled Teal'c and his mother to Chulak. Bra'tac planted the seeds of doubt about the Goa'uld in Teal'c's mind. Teal'c later married Drey'auc , and had a son, Rya'c.
As a Jaffa, Teal'c is a genetically modified human with an abdominal pouch that serves as an incubator for a larval Goa'uld. The larval symbiote grants enhanced strength, health, healing, and longevity; Teal'c is around years old during the show's run and ages an additional 50 years in the final SG-1 episode. Teal'c's most notable feature is a golden tattoo found on his forehead, a sign that he once served the System Lord Apophis as First Prime , the most senior Jaffa rank. The character appears in all episodes of SG-1 except season 8's " Prometheus Unbound ", making him the character with the most episode appearances. Teal'c is a Jaffa from the planet Chulak.
