I have a problem stopping me from progressing in my learning, my test bench in hyperv gives me this error when I add the 2nd domain controller. Check these to make sure they are correct. I found the problem in my setup. It was indeed a miss-configured dns. When the dns role was configured by Active Directory the dns server address in the ipv6 properties was set to "". Un-checking ipv6 in the network adapter properties or configuring the ipv6 properties fixes the problem.
