Yes, being able to have traveled as much as we have has been our dream come true. Visiting the pyramids and seeing them in all of their glory in real life for some reason stirred up a lot of emotions for me. How has interacting with dancers from different cultures impacted you? I think just being able to interact with people in general, not just dancers, of different cultures has helped shape me into a more understanding human being. I grew up in Germany for the first 8 years of my life, but during a time when being anything but white was still frowned upon even from some of my own family members.
