As a summoner build, we dont have enough damage to chill enemy reliably that is needed for Ahuana's Bite's damage taken bonus. Elementalist ascendancy allow us to chill enemy reliably even if our damage is low. Besides, combining with Shaper of Storms, we can shock enemy reliably as well, hence able to gain huge damage boost by stacking ailment effects to boost both chill and shock effect. As this build invest a lot into damage taken stats bonus from Ahuana's Bite, Vulnerability curse and Shock which scales both hit and bleed damage, I thought it would be a waste if only uses bleed.
