Has anyone receive a free booster from their badges? Account level Still never got one. I know droprates are stupid low, someone else literally has to craft the badge, then 1 person who's eligible gets 1 booster pack. Changed subject from the question it was. Gathering collectibles on Steam can improve the look of your profile and how others see you in chat. Trading Cards are an essential collectible that can be used in many ways. You can craft Badges with it, gather them from the game, sell them on the market, trade them with other players, and so on. Players get Trading Cards from playing games. You can only get a certain number of Cards from playing the game, and when you reach the limit, if you want to complete the set and craft a Badge, you must find another way to acquire them. One of those ways is getting Booster Packs. Read on to find out how to get Booster Packs on Steam, the chances of acquiring this item, and what is necessary for eligibility. A Booster Pack contains three cards for its game. You can get Booster Packs in two ways: for free by waiting for random drops, and with Gems. First, you must collect all the cards available for drop in a game you own, which is usually half of the total number of cards for that game.

So are they just like normal card drops, except with a lower drop rate chance and only unlocked after you craft a level one badge for the game? Basically, my question is: "Do I get booster pack drops by playing more of the game? Or do they just randomly appear in my inventory? According to the FAQ, they should just appear randomly for any game you've exhausted the drops for. Not that I've actually had a booster pack at all yet, mind

You can get trading cards simply by playing one of the participating games. As you play, you'll occasionally receive trading card drops which will be placed in your Steam Inventory. Most games will drop a number of cards equal to about half the number of cards in that game's set of cards. For example, Half-Life 2 has 8 cards in its set, you can receive 4 card drops by playing it. You'll need to collect the other half of the set from other community members.

I swopped a sticker for some gems and thought I could maybe get a game cheaper? Yet no, Im taken to Booster packs and no explanation again. Is it just for children who want to collect stickers?
