Stacey completed undergraduate study in Psychology at Purdue University while starting her career in mental health as a Psychiatric Technician at Wabash Valley Hospital. A few years after undergrad, she moved to the Chicago area to raise children and she completed her graduate study in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University. She went on to enjoy a long tenure in academia as a University Counselor and adjunct professor.
