Springtrap is a relentless, sadistic, arrogant, aggressive, cruel, springtrap love, and an easily angered rabbit who seemingly cares only about his friend, Fredbear, but is really all about sadism and revenge. He has shown brief sadness and guilt for Mangle when she told him that she misses her friends, body, and she forgives him, but that act of redemption was soon thrown away when he springtrap love turns her off.

William Afton , also known by his two aliases The Purple Guy and his split identity Springtrap , is the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, serving as the main antagonist of the original entries, prior to The Mimic taking his place and continuing his legacy in later entries. He was the serial killer responsible for the murder of a dozen children or more over his lifetime, as well as the founder of Fredbear's Family Diner and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. This sets the series in motion due to the victims haunting the animatronics, and Afton influencing the events from the shadows. He had a fascination with the paranormal, envying the ability to live forever, driving him to insanity. Afton is visualized as a tall, abnormal purple figure with a giant grin on his face, representing how he hides in the shadows during his killing sprees and the pleasure he takes in his murders.

Just a girl and her 7-foot-tall bunny man. The comic began in , ending in Springtrap has been around Deliah's house for a few months, being as good of a friend to Deliah as he can be. However, things start to change when a boy named Harry starts getting closer to Deliah then he would like, coinciding with her father Nick becoming increasingly suspicious of him. Out of fear of losing Deliah, Springrap decides he will never let her go, no matter what it takes.
