Hoping for a bit of advice. Looking to switch to a soundbar from my current poor performing Sony. I will be using two play:1s as surrounds. Does anyone have a similar setup and would they recommend? Been doing a bit of research and it appears that Dolby Atmos doesn't add a lot, so wondering whether it's worth paying the extra for the gen 2?

Atmos channels are different from surround channels. In my opinion, adding surrounds to a non-Atmos Beam will be far more effective than an Atmos Beam with no surrounds. The increased sound and stereo separation of the Arc sold me on it, not Atmos. Both sounded a lot better with Play 1 or One SL surrounds than with no rear speakers and that would be my first move.
