He has been there since the beginning, and while he may not always have been in the spotlight quite like the Mane 6, his impact on the series has still been very significant. I always thought his episodes provided variety to the series along with the CMC episodes and were quite enjoyable in their own right. And he has had some particularly wonderful moments in the later seasons, especially when he became friends with Thorax. While the trio mentioned here would probably be my three favorite dragons, I have to give an honorable mention to Scales — probably the cutest dragon in the series and one of the cutest villains too.

Ember is determined to prove to her father that she's just as capable as the other dragons, since he's protective of her since she's noticeable smaller than other dragons her age. It's more noticeable in the comics:. Spike had a problem of the other older dragons, mainly Garble, diminishing him because of his small size, lack of wings, and softer personality. Both Spike and Ember needed to prove themselves capable of doing things other dragons could do. And in the end by working together, they were able to do that. Ember knew next to nothing about friendship, or pony society. Spike knew next to nothing about dragon culture and society. But after Ember became the Dragon Lord and Spike became the Ambassador to the Dragon Lands, they both continued to learn through each other most of it happens offscreen, but it's implied this is the case.

Uprooted is the third episode of season nine of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and the one hundred and ninety-ninth overall. In this episode, the Young Six respond to a magical summons from the Tree of Harmony , only to learn it has been destroyed , and it is up to them to figure out the best way to memorialize it. The episode begins in a collective dream shared by all of the Young Six : Silverstream dreams of becoming the first non- Pegasus member of the Wonderbolts , Ocellus dreams of missing an entire year's worth of classes and having to take a final exam in order to graduate, Yona dreams of plummeting out of the sky, Smolder dreams of having a tea party in a cute dress, Gallus dreams of being trapped in a small space, and Sandbar dreams of having to choose between multiple snacks to eat. The Tree of Harmony 's transparent projection of Twilight Sparkle that appeared to the Young Six in What Lies Beneath appears before them again, having summoned them into the same dream space. She ominously tells the Young Six that the Tree needs them, and they wake up from their shared dream. The next morning, at the School of Friendship , Twilight races to get everything ready for the new school year when the Young Six arrive, far earlier than Twilight expected them.

Silverstream has the same name as a character in Rainbow Dash and the Daring Do Double Dare , published four years before her introduction in the series. In the season eight premiere School Daze - Part 1 and Part 2 , Silverstream enrolls in Twilight Sparkle 's newly opened School of Friendship as a student, having been brought to Ponyville by naval general Seaspray to represent the Hippogriffs. Initially, Silverstream is particularly excited to be at the school, but Twilight's strict adherence to the Equestria Education Association's guidelines causes the school courses to be dull and boring. When Silverstream cuts class with Sandbar , Smolder , Gallus , Yona , and Ocellus , the six hang out together and slowly become good friends. They later return to school for Friends and Family Day, but they accidentally ruin the event and cause damage to the school. Chancellor Neighsay of the EEA perceives their fun and games as an attack orchestrated by non-pony creatures, and the offended tribe leaders pull their students out of school, including Silverstream. Not wanting to say goodbye to each other after the school is closed, Silverstream and her new friends go into hiding at the Castle of the Two Sisters. The six have fun together at first, but they are eventually attacked by ferocious puckwudgies , prompting the Mane Six to save them.
