In The Elder Scrolls Online , there are numerous ways to level up and improve your characters. Skill points are essential to unlocking new active and passive skills in the various skill lines in the game. While there are several ways to gain skill points, such as through main quests, finding Skyshards is another recurring way to do so. Skyshards, also called Shards of Aetherius, appear all over Tamriel and even in the Planes of Oblivion. Finding three Skyshards rewards you with an additional skill point.

The Skyshard guide is here to help you find out what Skyshards actually are, what their use is, how many you can find and where you can find them all. Wherever you end up, upon exploring, you will sooner or later notice a glowy ray emitted from what looks like a crystal. These are called Skyshards. The Soulless quest used to be the tutorial quest. Skyshards are meant to provide you with a skill point after you have collected three of them. Upon finding all in an area, such as a region, you will be granted an Achievement. If you have collected all them, you will receive a new dye with which you can colour your costumes or clothes, called Aetherial Blue. Since you also have to go into solo- and groupdelves in order to find some Skyshards, you will also get some other achievements, unlocking more colours and titles! In the total 32 regions you can find Skyshards. If we include the one from the Soulless quest this makes a total of Skyshards you can find, which accumulates to Skill points! If you collect all the Skyshards listed in your achievement journal, you will even receive an award. Aside from a Skyshard as a housing item, you will also receive this:.

All in all I looted over gold, sold more than 20 stacks of cloth, skyshard stack of white skyshard black trillium each, skyshard, 12 stacks of ghost iron, about 15 stacks of leather, and I had 32 cache keys as well.

The sixth season of Elder Scrolls Online , High Isle, brings players with some new locations and opportunities to find Skyshards. High Isle is an added location in Tamriel that is similar to a vacation destination for those characters in the high society of Elder Scrolls Online. Also, the new chapter provides more of an old-school political storyline rather than the recent world-ending plots that other Elder Scrolls Online expansions have added. One of these new locations is the Shipwreck Shoals. This location is known as a Delve, which is a cave hidden away in the rocks.

For every three skyshards one collects, a skill point is given to them. Skyshards are scattered throughout Tamriel and can be found in every zone in the game. Skyshards can be identified at a distance by their tall, bright beams of Magicka emanating from them. Because of this, they can be seen over small rock formations and hills. They also emit a low humming sound when one is nearby. In total, there are Skyshards in the game. This means that skill points can be gained from Skyshards alone. All the hints, also displayed in the in-game achievements tab, are given below.

Live PTR Comment by Nander I've taken a look at the Alani lore and came up with a theory: Alani was born when lightning hit the Whitepetal Lake. According to the loremaster telling the story of Alani, we will need to collect the lightning which shaped her in order to fight her. I then decided to go fish in Whitepetal Lake and discovered something interesting: In some cases you do get a skill level indicating you caught something without actually receiving an item indicating the item is still to be implemented, but already has a drop rate.

More than SIX years farming the Horseman's mount All in all I looted over gold, sold more than 20 stacks of cloth, 6 stack of white and black trillium each, 12 stacks of ghost iron, about 15 stacks of leather, and I had 32 cache keys as well. Now get this a guild mate got 34 last night, and regularly gets them easy and he has made a market out selling the mount.. I believe I looted it from a golden treasure chest, but it may have been from God-Hulk Gulkan, so it may indeed drop additionally from mobs just in the Vale still as of 5. If you stop killing mogu before you achieve the quest requirement and go to the famous instant respawn cow in mistfall village you can kill about 15 cows per minute. I can comfortably pull groups of Mogu at a time on my Warlock and there's always a large group spawned, ready to be grabbed. Clockwork City Shyshards. Bangkorai Skyshards. Comment by ejpaints I'm not sure where everyone is farming these to take so many kills but I started the grind today. The 3rd. Comment by kabookiejoe Gave this a shot other day, I had 3 shards on my rogue 1 on my shaman. Comment by sunlounger For all the people trying to obtain these after patch 5. In addition only one key after I reached exalted and never got a shard one from the treasure-chest.

If you raid and capping VP is an afterthought, going for it on an alt using this method would work if you hate long grinds. After a long time of farming I finally got the 10 shards. There is still a chance of it dropping even if you've already created a Sky Crystal and have the mount? Had to empty my bags 3 times from all the cloth, greens and motes, even recovered a fair amount of my gold back that i had to spend on repairs to armor from getting killed so often on the other daily's. I made roughly 25k gold, my lock is a tailor so I was able to get more cloth than the average farmer as well as use it to make bolts, which sell for more than the raw cloth on my server. There were times I could of sworn the droprate had been lowered, or that I had the worse luck in the world. I don't know but for me it was fairly easy. I have to say that i doubt the drop rate for AOE farm mobs Tricksters. I received one from a Mogu 4 days ago, then I farmed for about hours over the next few days and finally got another to drop last night from the tricksters in the ruins. The Rift Skyshards. The Skyshard will pop up on the map after following the dotted line for enough time, but it will not be able to be reached just quite yet. My Skyshards. Nice troll, blizzard. All told I pull in around g a day from grinding these shards. I've killed over 20k tricksters by Mistfall Village but nothing has dropped.
