Although character creation is very much streamlined in comparison to earlier titles in The Elder Scrolls franchise, Skyrim still offers at least one definitive choice that directly impacts the player's starting skills and innate skyrim racial race. Each one possesses its own unique racial abilities and powers. However, this doesn't mean that a race is restricted to a certain play-style, as it is possible to develop any skill over time. Unlike other The Elder Scrolls games, Skyrim does not feature classes, so in character creation, the race is the only major gameplay choice that the player must make. Tamriel is the home of all the ten main races, each occupying a different portion of the continent. The following table shows the starting skill statistics for each race. The higher the number over the base level of 15 the better. Values of 20 indicate this is a favored skill of the race. Values of 25 indicate this is a primary skill of the race. Skills can be improved to a primary group. Every race has their own unique skill which they excel at and will start at level 25 with that particular skill. For example, Bretons start at level 25 Conjuration as they are naturally skilled at it.

Strategies for Playing as an Argonian : Argonians are suited to thief -type play, being better at lockpicking from the start. It's a skill that normally takes a bit longer to level, so this is a welcome bonus. Otherwise, their bonuses are a bit spread out. They're not a great race to play unless you'll lean heaviliy on those thief skills, but in that case will need to decide between this Race or Khajiit.

Picking a Race will give players various bonuses to certain skills , each option giving 10 levels to one main skill and 5 levels to 5 other skills. The Race selection is the only option that has an impact on the character's skills and abilities during Character Creation.

It seems like a good character on paper, but its abilities are pretty weak and don't really justify choosing this race over anyone else. These increased skills only impact the very start of the game, as, over time, players can max out any skill , regardless of character race.
This reptilian race, well-suited for the treacherous swamps of their Black Marsh homeland, has developed a natural resistance to diseases and the ability to breath underwater. They can call upon the Histskin to regenerate health very quickly.
Adrenaline Rush Stamina regenerates 10x faster for 60 seconds, once per day. These skills are very basic, and won't carry a character through their adventures. Races Skyrim. Known as excellent combatants as well as mages, there's a lot of options if you're not quite sure what your build is and where you'd like to go with it. Strategies for Playing as a Khajiit : Khajiit are the master thieves of Skyrim. Flames : A gout of fire that does 8 points per second. A good all-around choice unless you're making a pure warrior. Overall, a good race for a Warrior but poor as a caster compared to other Races. Note on racial stats: Each race starts off with different stats.
